We had our wedding in November and cannot recommend them enough. Kim and Mark were fantastic from the beginning and helped us make the day special. The quality of food was superb and many guests commented on this since the wedding. Being able to stay on site after the wedding was also really helpful the rooms were well laid out and spacious. Thank you again to the all the mill house team for giving us such a special day.
Our daughter Jess and son in law Dan’s wedding was held at The Mill House Hotel last week. It was just perfect. From that first meeting with Charlotte then getting to know Emma, Kim, Chris and Mark, everything was arranged within the short time frame of 3 months in a professional and extremely friendly way. On the day, Chris was a star with his warm welcome making everyone feel at ease, and overseeing the day that went without a hitch. All the staff were so friendly and our guests were full of compliments. The venue is just beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderful, romantic wedding and celebration. Great food and super breakfast the next day served by a wonderful lady. It really was perfect and we cannot thank you enough.
Travelled for work, fantastic quiet spot just outside of reading. Old characterful building. Rooms pleasantly modernised, particularly new/modern bathroom. Room spotless/clean. WiFi fast for working if required. Lady who served breakfast provides a friendly start to the day, all staff in fact very welcoming and helpful. Food in restaurant is good, flavourful and a varied selection. Tea/coffee/water in rooms restocked daily. If in the area I would definitely stay again.
